The performer was born on 26 November 1987 at Santa Monica California in the United States of America. The singer is the child of father Vincenzo Barba and mother Valerie Barba. At the age of six, her family relocated into Point Pleasant New Jersey. Her high school studies at the age of six in New Jersey at Red Bank Catholic High School. Following her graduation from Catholic University with a Bachelor's in Architecture and a Master's in Architecture, she continued to study at the college. As well, she played the violin since the age 4 and was known for her role as Violin Lady. Her performances led to being nicknamed Violin Girl. She was a violin teacher to children in the neighbourhood. She sang Free beginning in 1976 during the auditions for the sixth season of American Idol at the age of 19. She was subsequently eliminated reaching 16th position on the show. She has sung several songs including 2009's 'The Christmas Song as well as The 2010's Out for Blood. Additionally she has been on a few programs on television, including Jimmy Kimmel Live!. Antonella Barba rose to stardom singing in the United States on the show's 6th season American Idol. Also, she began acting on television after being removed from the competition after she was ranked in the top 16. In the end, she has played small parts in films and also competed on Fear Factor's season in 2012. Daily Mail stated that she was sentenced on the 21st of November 2019, to nearly four years in prison as part of a plot to distribute Fentanyl. The artist pleaded guilty in July of possessing more than 4000 grams of fentanyl to distribute.
