Molly grew up in Pennsylvania and started working professionally when she was a teenager in Philadelphia's Prince Music Theater. Her first production as a professional was The Snow Queen. Her nomination was for a Barrymore Award nominee for her part as Little Red Ridinghood at the Arden Theater's production Into the Woods. It was recast in the production when she made her Broadway debut in Into the Woods at Broadway in 2002. Molly was awarded an award from the Drama League Award for this performance. Molly performed on Broadway during the 2004 revival of Fiddler on the Roof. Following her graduation at Princeton University, where she received the degree of B.A. on Religion, and was a Triangle Club member, Molly was a student at Princeton University. In Religion.
